Recently, an SSP team raised in excess of $2,500 for the local Relay-for-Life and has sent crews to help Summit County Habitat for Humanity.
Eligible associates participate in quarterly gain sharing, where profits in excess of threshold are pooled over a ninety-day period and divided according to accumulated individual pay over the past quarter.
SSP seeks first to fill open positions with existing associates before creating an opportunity for someone new to join our ranks. When that time comes, SSP provides an incentive to our associates to refer a friend or professional associate to fill our challenging positions.
SSP continuously improves our working environment through quarterly Employee Satisfaction Surveys which are analyzed by our Human Resource Committee (HRC). The HRC assist management by recommending, designing, and implementing improvements in our working environment.
All associates are encouraged to participate in ongoing wellness initiatives sponsored by the company. Within the past twelve months, SSP associates have participated in more than ten different wellness programs. SSP offers health club membership reimbursements, and soon will be opening an on-site Fitness Center for the benefit of our associates and their families.
